The setting was beautiful and the tour began with a happy hour where
our guides, David and Louise, gave us an orientation.
Many members of the group spent the next day riding the ferries on
Lake Como to the towns of Menaggio, Bellagio, and Cadenabbia before returning
to Varenna. For those who visited Cadenabbia, the gardens of Villa
Carlotta were outstanding. Our first group dinner together was in
the hotel restaurant.
