Agreement with LXX
The identification of John the Baptist as Elijah who "restores" (apokathistanei) all things (Mark 9:12) seems dependent on the Septuagint form (apokatastesei), or in Hebrew texts which were pre-LXX, not the proto-Masoretic Hebrew, which reads hshyb ("returns" or "turns back").
