Single Texts or Multiple?

There was not just a single original text for any book or even most recorded events, but a number of texts in each area.

Many accounts came from different oral traditions:

Two creation stories (in Gen 1 and 2)

Two accounts of God's covenant with Abraham (In Genesis 15 and 17)

Two versions of call of Moses (Ex 3 & Ex 6)
