After uneventful flights from San Diego to Amsterdam, we arrived in Amsterdam early in the afternoon and took a local bus in to our hotel in the Leidseplein area.

After a short rest in the hotel room we walked to the flower market. This is one of the first booths we saw, with many tulips and the boxes of gerberas from the growers.

This is the bouquet of 25 tulips she bought and enjoyed the week we were there.
