From Pacific Grove we drove to Point Lobos where we hiked four trails.

One trail took us around one of the two remaining cyprus groves in the area. The other is at Pebble Beach.

A deer came within a few feet of us as we walked one of the trails.

We were amazed at the variety and number of wild flowers.

Another trail took us to this interesting area, with alternating layers of sandstone and conglomerate.

A final trail took us to this overview of a meadow and hills in the distance.
