Day 1:  We arrived in Gatwick Airport about 8 AM, London time, and took the Gatwick Express train into Victoria Station and walked the three blocks to our hotel.  Our room was ready, so we rested for a couple of hours and then ventured out for lunch and a walk. 



We saw Westminster Cathedral, the largest Catholic church in London.


We walked a bit further to see Westminster Abbey.

Near Westminster abbey was St. Margaret's Church. We went inside and looked around for a while.  Many weddings are performed in this church.
