Introduction to Interlaken
It was raining most of the train ride here from Geneva and raining in Interlaken. We have a great room with a balcony and view of the mountains over the big open field. Our view is unobstructed since we are on the 7th floor. Of course we can’t see the mountains today because of the rain but we know they are there. While watching the rain we spotted a market on the street and walked down there and shared a sausage and roll.
Then to our surprise the rain changed to snow
The field across from the hotel turned white and we couldn't see the mountains at all.
We then went to dinner (sausage, fried potatoes and onions), walking in snow and slush, but when we returned it had stopped snowing and it started to clear.
