Monterey Bay Aquarium

We walked to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for a day there.

Of course the first attraction for us was the tank of otters.

The two story high kelp display was fascinating, almost hypnotic.

The jellyfish exhibits were fascinating. We were amazed at the variety- large and small, fast moving and slow moving, rightside up and upside down, as well as plain and ornate.

This is just one representative of the large number of tanks of fish in this wonderful aquarium.

We did not remember ever seeing before a display of live sand dollars, standing on end.

On to Point Lobos.-->
