On our way to the villa we stopped in the town of Pienza for lunch. This is the main square in Pienza.

We had a bit of time for shopping before the stores closed for lunch. Some of us supported the Italian economy in this small art shop.

We were on our own for lunch, and some were able to ake in the views of the surrounding countryside.

After a delightful time in Pienza we were on our way to our Agritourismo, the Villa Cennina.
