Our summer vacation brought us to the Tea Garden in San Francisco.



We rode the cablecar.



From there we drove north to Arizona Beach.




Then on to Honeyman State Park.

Our next stop was at Lake Quinault.






We liked the hikes there.



Next, we went to the Hoh Rain Forest.



We spent a day at Hurricane Ridge.





We took the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria.






We enjoyed a day at Butchart Gradens, even staying for a buffet dinner and an evening program.



Dad especially enjoyed the fushias.



We also went to Thunderbird Park.




We took a ferry back through the San Juan Islands and drove to Seattle.



There we enjoyed the Japanese Garden,



Our next stop was a long one at Mt. Ranier where we had a great view from our campsite.








We saw many beautiful views of Mt Ranier from various outlooks.



We did a lot of hiking....



including one in the ice and snow.



Dave and Dad hiked up to the ice caves one day...



where the interior was filled with beautiful shades of blue.



Our next camping stop was on the Rogue River near Grant's Pass, Oregon.



The swimming was nice there.



Dad even panned for gold there.
