Don's Calligraphy Gallery

After completing my doctoral thesis in 1974 I was looking for something different to work on. The Alhambra School District offered a calligraphy class taught by a calligrapher from the City of Los Angeles, which I attended for about 2 years. In the process we learned about different fonts and I learned a number of them and some of their history, which I ilustrate below.
